Athens - Athens, Georgia - Jimmy Taylor, 43, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 11, 2023. A private service and burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jimmy's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Nuci's Space, or Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. Jimmy was born in Macon, Georgia to James Oscar Taylor (Jim) and Angela Poitevint Taylor. Jimmy is survived by his parents and sisters Missy Taylor and Lindsay Taylor Mabry (Milam), nephew Ben Mabry and niece Margaret Mabry. Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
