Jason "Big Jay" Carter, age 41, born on August 3, 1980, in New Orleans, LA, was called home by our almighty God to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Without any more worries, Jason stepped aboard the Chariot of eternal life. Jason received his education foundation in the Orleans Parish System. He was the beloved son of the late Veronica Maxine Carter Hill and James Jacob Washington. Loving father of Runzanique, Ranzanae, Jean Pierre, Jason Carter, Jr., and Ja'son Peters. Devoted brother of Jamonica Carter (Kent Kendrick) and Matthew Carter. Uncle of Maddison Carter, Mariah Bordray and Rickey Carter. Nephew of Pauline, Catheline, Gwendolyn Carter, Joyce Thomas, Estelle Washington, Tangie Granderson, Linda Cooper (Ronald), Robert, Lonnie, Joseph, Charles and Odessa Carter (Veronica). Godbrother of Keion Mark. Stepson of Telemachus Hill. Companion of Crachelle Lawson. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Ruziel Jean Pierre, Ramazi Terrance, and a host of family and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents Christine Carter, Mac Hayes, James and Elnora Washington; 5 aunts Madeline and Denise Carter, Althea Green, Marva Carter and Vivian Snyden; 4 uncles Mac Arthur, Clyde Carter, Ozeal Snyder, and Daniel Green; and 3 cousins Thaddeus Jackson, Hollis Carter, Jr. and Bobby Thomas.
