Jason Robert Kelly

Jason Robert Kelly, a New Orleans resident, passed away on July 30, 2025, at University Medical Center. He was 51 years old.

He was born in Metairie, LA to the late Martha Stuckey Kelly and the late Robert Emile Kelly, Sr. He was a graduate of Riverdale High School in Jefferson, Louisiana. He worked as an integrated security systems technician.

Jason is survived by his two loving children, son, Shane Kelly, and daughter, Vivian Kelly; brothers, Brent Kelly (and wife, Brenda Kelly) and Robert E. Kelly, Jr.; niece, Mason Kelly (Brent and Brenda); and a host of cousins and friends who will miss the brightness of his presence and the warmth of his laughter.

Jason had a love for music of many genres, which he both listened to and created with his cherished guitars and harmonicas. Equally, his enthusiasm for football, and particularly for his beloved New Orleans Saints, was a testament to his loyalty and his love for his hometown.

Jason had a passion for celebrating life. He loved to make others laugh and he had an amazing ability to turn a simple gathering into an unforgettable event.

While Jason's physical presence will be greatly missed, the essence of who he was will continue to live on through the stories he told, the music he made, and the laughter he shared.
