Raleigh

Jason Dean Stutts, 24, passed away on May 12, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1993 in Raleigh, the son of Joan Roebuck Stutts and Anthony Dean Stutts. He graduated from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School and attended East Carolina University. Jason grew up playing soccer as a member of Wake Forest United. He enjoyed spending his working days in the automotive industry and his free time fishing and loving his dog, Harlow. Jason is survived by his parents, Joan and Tony Stutts; brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Brenna Stutts; grandmother, Eula Mae Roebuck; aunt and uncle, Sammy and Lisa Roebuck; cousins, Sam and James Roebuck; and uncle, Thomas Stutts. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Ashley Roebuck and aunt, Loren Stutts.

Family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church, with the funeral service beginning at 2:30 pm with Rev. Richard Childress and Rev. Brian Lockamy officiating. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Montlawn Funeral Home will be providing the funeral services.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Honduras Mission Fund in memory of Jason Stutts at New Hope Baptist Church (4301 Louisburg Road, Raleigh, NC 27604) or the SPCA of Wake County at spcawake.org.

Tony and Joan, I know this is a little late and I am sorry. It´s been many years since I have seen and talked with you. I saw on the web that you lost a child, I can´t even imagine how y´all must have felt. I only met Jason once but I´m sure he was a fine young man because he had great parents who loved him. Julie and I will keep you both in our prayers and thoughts. Take care and god bless.

There are simply no words that can adequately express what it is to suffer the loss of a child.
