April 12, 1972 - February 14, 2025

Jason Ray Whitlock of Aiken, South Carolina and Kuwait City, Kuwait, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2025 at the age of 52.

Jason was born in Aiken County, South Carolina, and graduated from Midland Valley High School, class of 1991. He enlisted in the Army and became a 41 Lima (Cable Dog). Jason left the army as a Sergeant and made a career as a wiring systems installer and project manager in Kuwait.

Jason's survivors include his wife, Dalal, of Kuwait City, Kuwait, his four beautiful children: Waverly Whitlock of New Mexico, Jason Whitlock, Jr., of California, Adam Whitlock and Noah Whitlock, of Kuwait, his mother and stepdad Sandra and Gene Fox of Aiken, South Carolina, his sister Emily Kneece (Kenny) of Eureka, South Carolina, his brother James Whitlock, of North Augusta, South Carolina, and his extended family and many friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Whitlock of Warrenville, South Carolina, paternal grandparent Wade(Bud) and Helen Whitlock, and maternal grandparents J. B. and Katie Orr, of Aiken, SC.

Jason leaves an indelible impression on those who called him husband, dad, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, mentor, or fellow traveler. Jason's outgoing and adventurous spirit, his sense of humor, and his kind heart captivated everyone who had the chance to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
