Jane - I have the joy of remembering when we were all 25 or 30 something, so both you and Delobe will be forever high energy and without silver hair in my memory. I know the high energy remained all his life. May all the happiness you shared help you over this cruel time.

Dear Jane, I knew you back in the beginning days of GCTC, and I knew de Lobe because he was he the lawyer for my father Stephen's company (Conuclear Medical, Ltd. in Ottawa). De Lobe was kind, fair, funny and incredibly intelligent. My father was very fond of him and has mentioned him many times throughout the years. Our deepest sympathies for your loss.

I had the pleasure of being the officiating registrar when his Honour was sworn in as a Superior Court Justice. I was always impressed by his Honour's systematic respect of decorum. He always treated his court staff with great respect and I will never forget that nor him. My deepest condolences go out to his family in this difficult time.

Dear Jane and family,
It is a sad day. I do believe de Lobe was my very first love. Sue and I met in grade one and became fast, lifelong friends. On the days she would play at my house de Lobe would come to Laurier Ave from Daly Ave to walk her home. He was always so cheery and good natured. I thought then (at age six)and always have known, that she was the luckiest girl to have such a fine man as a big brother.
