Jeffrey Florian Obituary
West Lafayette - Jeffrey C. Florian, 60, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 12:19pm on Sunday November 26, 2017. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Jeff fought a long and courageous battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer.
He was a man who had a zest for life and truly was a man who never grew up. He loved motor sports, karaoke/music, church, the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with loved ones. Jeff worked most of his life with his father, including when he moved his family to West Lafayette to begin a thriving business, Lafayette Limo Inc. In 2001 he purchased Lafayette Limo from his father and has been running a successful service with his wife and several of his children.
Jeff was born on April 6th 1957 in South Bend, Indiana to D. Charles and Jackie Florian. He married Rhonda Schmucker on November 24th 1978. He is survived by both his parents, his wife Rhonda and their 5 children, Adam (Katie), Isaac, Benji (Amanda), Amanda, Nathan (Ashley), and their 16 grandchildren, with number 17 on his way.
Calling will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 5-7. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am. Both will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 310 Kalberer Road, West Lafayette, Indiana 47906. We will be having a party in celebration of Jeff's life. Per his wishes we request that all in attendance both days dress casual in joyful colors, limiting black as much as possible. Also honoring Jeff, on Wednesday his family will be sporting Steeler's gear and all are welcome to do so as well. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA). Ok! I'll tell Jeff when I see him. TMG Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.

My deepest condolences to the Florian family. One of my memories was when Jeff came to MN to buy a bus. It broke down in my driveway and sat there for a couple weeks. We will miss you Goober.

I used to work with Jeff driving for Lafayette Limo several years ago. He and his dad Chuck were wonderful, and fun to work for. Jeff was always fun and friendly, a great guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family. Rest in peace Jeff.
