Jeffrey Todd Fraser, 33, of Kansas City, MO, died May 8, 2003, at his home. Jeff was born May 17, 1969, in Chillicothe, MO. He grew up in Kansas City, MO, and graduated from Oak Park High School in 1987. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1993, with a B.S. in biological sciences and attended the University of Health Sciences. He worked at Midwest Research Institute, the VA Hospital in Kansas City, and the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia. Survivors include his son, Connor Felton Fraser, 8, of Columbia, MO; mother, Shirley Fraser of the home; father, Dr. Roger Fraser and his wife, Constance of Chillicothe, MO; brothers, Jon and his wife, Janet, Mike and his wife, Katherine, and families; grandparents, Lois and Dale Alley of Kansas City. His greatest joy in life was being with his son, Connor. He also loved all aspects of nature and animals and especially his two dogs, Linus and Huck. Jeff was loved by all who knew him. He was a very intelligent, caring and funloving person. He is now free from his earthly pain. His freedom is our loss, but a part of what was Jeff's spirit will remain with us always. Friends may call at the home. Cremation. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, May 10, followed by the service at 11 a.m., at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 7600 N.W. Barry Rd., Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Jeffrey Fraser Memorial Fund for Connor Felton Fraser. Contributions may be left at or mailed to Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 7600 N.W. Barry Rd., Kansas City, MO 64153.
