JERRY
Of Pittsburgh and West Palm Beach, FL, on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Beloved husband of 54 years of Judith Kelsky Lebovitz; devoted father of Jodi and Richard Wentley and Jamie and Peter Applefield, all of W. Palm Beach, FL; brother of Claire Weiner of Pittsburgh and the late Eleanor Tabor; the most loving Pa of Savannah Wentley, J. Wentley, Lily Applefield, and Caroline Applefield; also survived by nieces, nephews and many best friends. Jerry was the Owner and President of Liberty Furnace Co. for over 55 years. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Thursday at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to services (10-11 a.m.). Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Family Hospice & Palliative Care, 310 Fisk St., 2nd Fl., Pgh., PA 15201 or Planned Parenthood of Western PA, 933 Liberty Ave., Pgh., PA 15222.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He was a great father . . . I always loved being around him as a kid, and whenever I would bump into him in Shadyside, he was always so kind and engaged. My thoughts are with you all at this most difficult time.

Judy and Family,
