Uncle D you were more than an Uncle! You were like a Father to me and my brothers Austin and Tristan. At a young age we three boys had to be dealt the hand of losing our biological dad due to his poor life choices and divorce from our Mother. From that point on you never skipped a beat with us! You were always there whether it was buying a mountain of presents for kids who didn´t know it at the time might wake up with nothing under there Christmas tree if it wasn´t for you. If I ever needed advice you always seemed to know what to say. I am going to miss coming to see you and us all going to the beach spending hours out there. One of my favorite memories of you was when I was only 6 years old and we came to see you in Atlanta and you were going to the store so you asked me if I wanted to ride with you in which my mom chimed in, "David if your taking Dakota don´t take the motorcycle it scares me" So you said okay but when we stepped outside you looked at me and smiled and said, "Your not afraid of the motorcycle, let´s just not tell your mom" So we went out on your motorcycle and it was the coolest thing to be out at night in Atlanta seeing all the tall buildings. Later on we told mom and she was okay with it lol. I miss you so much Uncle D I wish I could hear your voice again but I know your happy to be home now with Mom and Nanny. I love you Uncle D!

I will forever miss you and all the laughs we had. You were one of my oldest and best friends. I can barely remember a time without you in it. It was so hard to say goodbye to you so soon in life, you and our darling Ann both! I will always cherish the memories of us. You were such a big part of my life. Thank you for always making me feel good about myself. You always lavished me with compliments. I will miss that for sure! We always had fun together on our many adventures, riding your motorcycle to Savannah, cruising in the Camaro, going to beach, picnicking in the mountains for breakfast, cooking fancy dinners, late night swims in the pool, going to the latest movies ... on and on, I could go! I am posting a photo from a birthday you celebrated in Tennessee at Ann´s house and the cake I made for you. (Chocolate, of course!) One from high school prom and also one of marching band! You were the most excellent trumpet player! Also, I am posting a few photos of you with your siblings. These are the ways I will always remember you. Forever Young! Say Hi to Ann and my second Mama for me. See you all in Heaven when I get there!
