Dear Lynn and family,
We only heard of this sad news yesterday and our hearts are breaking for you. John was so full of fun and laughter! He coached our boys together in baseball and football. We have so many wonderful memories, especially when the boys played flag football downtown at the stadium. Now John is with his beloved Johnnie and in the arms of our loving Lord. Our faith keeps us going through this painful time of grieving, but we know we will see him again. Prayers to you all.
Love, the Gabanic family

Dear Lynn and family,
We could hardly believe this sad news! I still remember the boy Johnny in 1967 in Paris, the young man who invited me in 1985 to have a real `hamburger´ with him at the shore of the lake Erie, and the proud father when we visit the family in 1994. We hoped that one day he would come over to Europe once again, but now we will miss him dearly.
I need not tell you how deeply we feel for you in your grief. We will light a candle and pray for him and the entire family to the Holy Virgin 'Causa nostrae laetitiae' in the cathedral of Tongeren (Belgium) .
Courage!
Dany and Ann Lousbergh-Vanhees and family

Remembering all the good times around the campfires and playing bingo in Lake Wales. It may have only been a few weeks, but the friendship seemed as though it had been years. We are deeply saddened by the news of John's passing. May all these sweet memories help to heal our broken hearts. Keeping Lynn and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
