John Falatovich Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 31, 2015.
John "Twinie" Falatovich of Hazleton passed away Monday morning.

He was born in Hazleton, son of the late Grace and Steven Falatovich, also of Hazleton.

John was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his twin brother, Michael Falatovich.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 36 years, Deborah Falatovich; and his children, son, John S. Falatovich, and daughter, Kaitlin Falatovich, all of Hazleton. His brothers, Steven and David Falatovich, also survive.

John was employed for several years by Chromatex in the Valmont Industrial Park until its closing and by E&B Giftware in the Humbolt Industrial Park until his retirement.

John was never one to stay in one place; from his years of military service, to his avid love for visiting the casino, John was always on the move.

If he wasn't at the casino, he was with his family and friends cracking some of his famous one-liners. John always had a unique way of taking any everyday encounter and making it a comical one. John knew everyone in town; you could not go anywhere without hearing "Hey Twinie! How you doing?" He is loved by his family and will be missed.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from Fierro Funeral Home, 26 W. Second St. Hazleton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Most Precious Blood Church.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
