John Michael Figura, Jr.

John Michael "Baby John" Figura, aged 39, of Mckees Rocks, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on January 12, 1986, to John Figura Sr. and Shirley Brazell, Baby John was a beacon of kindness and selflessness whose passion touched the lives of all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Sto-Rox High School, class of 2004, Baby John carried the spirit of his community into every aspect of his life. He dedicated 21 years of service to W J Beitler CO, where his work ethic and camaraderie were as steadfast as his commitment to his family and friends.

Baby John's love for Formula 1, NASCAR, and the Pittsburgh Penguins was surpassed only by his care for animals, both domestic and wild. He extended his heart to every creature he encountered, embodying the compassion he so naturally possessed.

Described by those who loved him as kind, selfless, and passionate, Baby John lived by the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived-this is to have succeeded." In every aspect of his life, he strived to lift others, succeeding in ways that words can scarcely capture.

He leaves behind a loving family: his father, John Figura Sr.; mother, Shirley Brazell; siblings and their spouses, Kellie (Brian), Richard(Ashley), Carrie, Jamie (Heather), Jason, and Amanda(Jordan) also the late Robert Brazell. His uncles, Robert Figura (Mary-Ann), and Steven Figura, also mourn his passing. Baby John's spirit will live on in the hearts of his cherished nieces and nephews, Destinee, Taylor(Mathew), Xavier, Alexis, Ryder, Aurora, Baby Timmy and Aspen.

Baby John's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the gentle touch of his presence, which brought comfort to all. As we bid farewell to a soul gone too soon, we take solace in the memories that will forever keep him alive in our hearts. John Figura's story is not one of sorrow, but a celebration of a life well-lived and a man well-loved.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Szal Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Helen Street where services will be held at 7:30 pm.
