John H. "Jack" Griesemer Jr.

John “Jack” H. Griesemer, Jr. John “Jack” H. Griesemer Jr., 71, passed away on April 12, 2021, at his home in Boyertown, PA. Born in Pottstown, PA, on February 2, 1950, Jack was the son of the late John H. Griesemer Sr., and Lois K. (Kirkhoff) Griesemer. Jack graduated from La Salle University in 1972, and shortly thereafter began his over 40-year career as an accountant. He owned and operated his own firm, The Accounting Offices of John H. Griesemer Jr., in Boyertown, PA. He loved his work and was very dedicated to serving his clients. Jack was a faithful member of Stichter Lodge #254, Valley of Reading Scottish Rite, Rajah Shrine, and a lifetime member of the Pottstown Holy Trinity, German, and Quoit Clubs. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed traveling. Most recently, he visited Yellowstone National Park and Sequoia National Park, where he loved to watch the animals. He frequently stayed at his house in Potter County, where he would rifle and bow hunt for turkey, deer, and elk. Jack also had fun testing his luck with the slot machines at the casino! Jack was a great man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mandy Fry; his stepsons, James Downing and Jeffrey Downing; and his sister, Jill Morris, wife of Roland. In addition to his parents, Jack is predeceased by his brother, Arthur “Paulie” Griesemer. A graveside and Masonic service will take place on April 16, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave., Pottstown, PA 19464.
