John was a first class man. Did a real estate deal with him back in 2000 when I was the director of real estate for RCN. Had lunch with John many days and we always had interesting conversations. He was down to earth and very pragmatic. Sorry to see he is gone

So sorry to learn of John's passing. He was a very nice man and a pleasure to do business with. My heart goes out to his family. We will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace eternally.
