Charlie:

I didn't know your dad personally, but always heard good things about him professionally. Having just lost my father last September, I know how hard this loss is for you, and my prayers are with you and your family.

Paulette: I was shocked to hear of Jack's death, not knowing he had been ill. My memory bank is filled with experiences I had with Jack. He always tried to help me with my fledgling law practice. I hope you, the children and grandchildren, will be spared lengthy, extreme grief and will be focusing on you, in particular, in my prayers.

Dear Paulette,
We are so sorry about Jack...can't believe it really. I was so encouraged when I saw you last week and we looked forward to visiting him at Touro. We are in Virginia for the week and will not be back in time but our prayers are with you and all the family. Our world has changed now that Jack has gone. We always counted on seeing him and looked forward to his company. It is a sad time.
