John Ernest Jolie July 1, 1925 - January 6, 2017 John Ernest (Ernie) Jolie quietly passed away January 6 at age 91, surrounded by family. Son of John Jolie and Lena (Bondy) of Windsor, he is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anne Louise (Adams), his children Suzanne Williams, Thomas, Philip and wife Carol, Simone and husband Joseph Kilpatrick, Sister Lise Jolie SNJM, Jennifer and husband Paul Kubinec, and Caroline Jolie. He was Grandpa to Theresa, Thomas and James; Daniel; Jacob, Jennifer, Casey, Nathan and Kathryn; Matthew, Grace, Andrew and Rosemary. He is great grandfather to eighteen children and counting. Survived by brothers Joseph, George and Roger and sister Jeanne. Brother Vincent and sister Marianne Lapointe predeceased him. Ernie served in the RCAF at the end of WWII, moved on to Burroughs Business Machines and then to teaching. He loved God deeply, steadily and unshakably, and his family the same, to his last breath.

Visiting at Holy Name of Mary Church 711 McEwan Ave at 10:00 am before the Funeral at 11:00 am Wednesday January 11. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Sisters of the Holy Names Refugee Fund.
