Dear Judy,
I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. I went to Northeastern with him (Boston Bouve '72). We came in as freshman together and served on the PE Majors Club together. I don't think a conversation went by without him mentioning your name....about something you had said or done, or someplace you had visited together. I'm not sure if we ever met, but I felt that I knew you. He was also proud of being a Bunker Hillbilly. (I think he said he played the bass tub.) I have since met other Hillbillys (Jim Kelly, and Kevin Ward) and they new John and spoke very highly of him. I heard of his passing from John Simonetti, also from NU, and working as a teacher in Dorchester, and I passed the news on to others that we graduated with. Our prayers are with you and your family.
He was a good man, and I will remember him as a happy man with a quick smile and a love for his "Judy".

Dear Judy and Tracy,
I was so upset to hear of Johns passing. I knew him from the pool at the Tannery and the YMCA. He spoke often of how important it was to exercise and take care of ones health.
I have many fond memories of him. You
are both in my thoughts. I pray for your family.

My deepest sympathy to all of John's family. As a colleague, he was the most positive, engaging and down to earth person for those of us lucky enough to work with him. Years ago, the Wheatley Middle was filled with his humor and warmth which we were privileged to share.
My prayers are with you.

I have many fond memories of big, strong John, especially how proud he was to be in the Bunker Hillbilly's. I always thought one day we could get together in Florida. My heart goes out to you both.
