John McCoy Obituary

John Stanley McCoy, 75, of Grant County, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, in Dry Ridge.
He was the son of the late John William and Ann Jessamine Eaves McCoy.
"Corn" is survived by his wife, Deborah Joyce Ruark McCoy; daughters, Shelly Ann McCoy, of Dry Ridge and Victoria Renee' McCoy Cummins (Chad), of Dry Ridge; three brothers, Charles E. "Buck" McCoy (Lucy) of Owen Co., William O. "Bill" McCoy of Gallatin, TN. and Michael E. "Mike" McCoy (Rebecca) of Pendleton Co.; three sisters, Lydia R. "Becky" Jump (Steve) of Mt. Zion, Leatha Ann Conrad (Tommy) of Williamstown and Vivian L. Link of Dry Ridge; four grandchildren, Taylor Caldwell, Devin Cummins, Tyrsten Cummins and Dacoda Cummins and one great-grandchild on the way, Jaxson Stanley Edward Huber.
Corn was preceded in death by a sister, Nancie Pat Carter. 
He retired in 1994 as the Grant County Clerk, which he was elected to office in 1981. He served Grant County and its residents in the clerks office for more than 40 years and he attended the Crittenden Baptist Church in Crittenden.
  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.
Visitation will also be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
