JOHN J. "OBIE", on June 7, 2007, of Springfield PA. Beloved husband of Judi E. (nee D'Ascenzo) O'Brien, devoted father of David O'Brien, Scott (Terri) O'Brien and Brett O'Brien; loving grandfather of Kristin; loving brother of Marie Kelly and Catherine Pitone. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, Wednesday 11 A.M. Church of St. Kevin, 200 W. Sproul Road, Springfield PA and to his Viewing after 9:30 A.M. in the Church. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Contribu-tions to St. Jude Children's Research Hosp., 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.

I worked with Obie at General Electric. I can honestly say he was one of the nicest guys you would want to know, it seemed to me, he was someone who knew how to have fun.
I am sure he will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
