JOHN MICHAEL O'REILLY John Michael O'Reilly, 41, of Dunwoody, Georgia and Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, son of Mary and Ed O'Reilly passed away on June 5th, 2007. John is survived by his wife, Michelle Stokes O'Reilly of Mt. Pleasant South Carolina; children, Chase, Margaret Neave and Cade; brothers and sisters in law, Ed and Bonnie O'Reilly of Michigan, Ken and Maureen O'Reilly of Wisconsin; sisters Jeanne O'Reilly and Mary Anne McCrea of Atlanta. John a graduate of the University of Georgia attended Vanderlyn School and Dunwoody High School where he was captain and quarterback of the football team. John was employed by Hillcrest Foods in a managerial position supervising the operations of various Waffle House units. A Funeral Mass service will be held Saturday, June 9th at 11 o'clock at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dan McCormack officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the O'Reilly Children's Educational Fund in care of First Citizens Bank, PO Box 2079, Florence, South Carolina 29503. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319.

We want to thank everyone for their sympathy and kind words. I just want everyone to know on this Father's Day that John was the most wonderful and caring Father and friend. We will miss him forever, but never forget him.

"O'John" was such a fun-loving person, and a great friend to me--both ay UGA and before! The fact that he surrounded himself with such great friends all his life truly shows what a special person he was. This morning I'm with the children of my daughter Cheron & son-in-law Jack, as Jack & Cheron attend their Dear Friend John's funeral mass. From a Mother's heart my prayers & thoughts are with John's family & friends; especially his little children, as they go through the difficult days ahead.
Cheron shared a story late last night of a time on the lake years ago when John had comforting words for her, as she had just lost her Uncle at the young age of 42 to leukemia. John's caring heart brought words of comfort to Cheron in her time of grief. I pray today that "God's Loving Arms" wrap around John's family & friends bringing comfort to you all.
