He was born May 16, 1924 in Apollo to Emanuel and Isabella (Vitone) Pisone. Mr. Pisone was a self-employed contractor for more than 40 years. An Army veteran, he served during World War II. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anne (Kosicek) Pisone; four sons, John Pisone of Apollo, Victor Pisone of Virginia Beach, Mark Pisone of Export and Regis Pisone of Greensburg; one daughter, Judith Ann Greece-Worthington of San Diego, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lewis Pisone of Apollo, Americo Pisone of Boise, Idaho and Victor Pisone of Vandergrift; and two sisters, Margaret Chemelli and Gloria Villani. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Gregory Pisone; and one brother, Joseph Pisone. PISONE ? Friends of John Q. Pisone, 78, of Greensburg, who died Nov. 20, 2002, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Vaia Funeral Home, Inc. at Twin Valley, 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, where a Prayer Service will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday. A Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Burial will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Arrangements by Vaia.
