I am one of John's Fraternity brothers from his days at Alfred - a truly great and caring guy. Lots of great memories. Rest in Peace my brother.

The Brothers of Kappa Psi Upsilon knew John as Froggy, and he was truly beloved at the house and on the AU campus. Back in the day, we all knew he was brilliant, but college undergrads dont say things like that to each other. We knew he was destined for greatness, and he delivered on that potential. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Johns family. In the name of the WOSR, Rest In Peace, brother!

I worked with John at GE and he was indeed The Professor. Calm and knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. I called him the Worlds Most Interesting Man. I tried to sit next to him at happy hours because he had great stories about wolves, tropical birds, or space toilets. Of course he watched the OJ highway Bronco chase in person from an overpass as it passed UCLA.
The GE Wildlife Committee will miss him and will keep up his projects
