John C. Ringhofer passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Scholl. John is survived by his wife of 15 years, Karen Ringhofer; his children: Jeneane (Eric) Eppinghoff, Jenna (Alex) Roeder, and Josh Ringhofer; his stepchildren: Brian (Teresa) Canfield and Stephen (Marcia) Canfield; grandchildren: Eli Eppinghoff and Kylie and Zachary Roeder; brother, Mike (Alison) Scholl; and nephews and nieces: Michael (Jenna) and Andrew Scholl, Monica (Tony) Burkhart, and Gina (Greg) Lewis. In addition to his family, John leaves behind numerous close friends, including those in the Hilltoppers Car Club, and his feline friend, Freddy. He will be missed tremendously by those who knew him.


A Celebration of Life in John’s memory will be held on Friday, August 26th at 2:00pm at River Hills Christian Church (6300 Price Rd, Loveland, OH 45140). In honor of John’s love for cars, please consider bringing a toy car (Hot Wheels, Matchbox, or Johnny Lightning) to be donated to children in need. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center. I am so saddened by the news of Jr's. passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. John was not only my friend but my best car guy buddy. I truly enjoyed being a car guy with him. I will miss the great times at car shows, and going to lunch . He will be missed by all of us. RIP and may God be with you and your family.
