The funeral was a tribute to what a great guy John was by all the people that were there to pay their respects. Jimmy and I will miss his smile, wit, companionship. I will miss seeing him walk through our back door early in the morning. I would be sitting at the counter with my hair looking like a porcupine, no make up, flannel PJ's. And he would say , "Good Morning Vision!" Our fishing with him, playing golf...just everything....especially keeping Jimmy out of my hair. Love you Big Guy. Say a good word for me up there. I need all the help I can get.

Deb and family,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss! My heart just breaks for all of you! Though I didnt know John, I heard many stories of him and you kids, you grew up in my eyes over the years through your mom! Your mom and I started working together in the 90s at Palmer Lake and then at Brooklyn Junior High!! One thing that stands out to me is the sense of humor, fun and love you all shared! May those memories of those fun filled days of laughter and adventure keep your heart filled with the joy of his everlasting love. Thinking of you all and sending prayers of healing and comfort!
Warm regards and love,
Kim

I was so saddened to hear of John's passing. We were friends, but I think most anyone in our group at Crosswoods golf league would say the same thing. He was so friendly, so welcoming and so fun to be around. His humor and the good natured bantering between his brother Jim and close buddy Jim Fraser always reminded me of a man who knew the value of true relationships. I will truly miss John. May God Bless and welcome you home and give comfort to your family and friends.

John was my first cousin he was a very good guy. I remember so vividly growing up and playing with his brother and sisters in the parking lot next to his parents home. We often also went to Uncle Tame and Eillens house and played baseball and sawdust schufel board game in their garage
I just saw John and his brother and sisters at Aunt Eillens funeral. This is a real shock to me and many others i am sure
I hope John has reunited with his parents and others that have passed before him in heaven
Deb, Jim, janice and julie i cant imagine your pain today and for ever
God's speed to my cousin
Love all you guys

I am so sad to hear of John's passing. I met both John and Jim when I joined the Crosswoods Golf course men's league several years ago. John immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable being there, and was a joy to golf with. He had a wonderful sense of humor, especially when things weren't going well (for me!). I will miss him and offer my condolences to his family.

Debi, Mike,Crystal, Kelly, Mike and Emily,
Our hearts are truly broken. John left us far to soon. He wasnt just a brother-in-law but a great friend. When people say that he was a great man they mean it in a big way. He wore his heart on his sleeve. He was a great teacher, he enjoyed helping anyone who needed it , making people feel special and poured his heart into everything he did. He loved life. He was a proud husband, father, father in law and a grandpa. Every life he touched has been blessed by having him in it. We will miss him and love him forever. Our deepest sympathy to each one of you.
Love Jeannie and Dave

There aren't any words to say that could ease things at this saddened time, so I'm not going to cover coat this. For the times that I knew John and spent hunting with him and others at my Grand parents home he was an inspiration to me. Always looked forward to hunting time cuz we got to see Jim and John, in hopes that John would bring those Debbie brownies or anything that she made, was always great. John was always one that would take the time to teach a person things or be outside and throw a football, wrestle you to the ground and if that wasn't enough he had the compassion to help others when needed to. He and Jim not only came to hunt but to help on the farm where it was needed. My heart goes out to the entire family
