Sure will miss his comments in Speakeasy over at CNET dot com. He always had some of the most interesting comments to add. He was one of the "good guys" for sure, both in forum and in life. We'll miss you JR.

Thank you to everyone for your expressions of sympathy. John knew & cared about a lot of people. I'm elated to know that many of you felt the same about him. He was the most interesting man I've ever known. He was & will always be my greatest love.
His wife, Patty

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
The memories that I have of John visiting us in Tennessee and of us all in Florida many years ago will be a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life. Please let us know if we can do anything for you.
