John J. Sayre

John J. Sayre, 60 of North Haven died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was the husband of Deborah Smittner Sayre. John was born in New Haven on November 26, 1957, a son of the late John Russell and Ruth Kokojan Sayre and had resided in North Haven since 1986. He owned and operated the former Sayre Plumbing, Inc. for thirty five years retiring in 2012. In addition to his wife, John is survived by two daughters, Melissa Sayre of San Antonio, TX, and Stephanie Sayre of Unionville, CT, one son, John J. Sayre, Jr. of Ashville, NC, two sisters, Jan (Robert) Simeone of Cheshire and Carol (Bernardo) Benedetto, and his twin brother, James R. (Patricia) Sayre, Jr. of Wallingford.
