Dr. Shultz was our pediatrician for many years for both our children and grandchildren. Our granddaughter Sarah was born with 3 heart chambers instead of four.
She was also blind an deaf and so my daughter , her husband, my husband and myself saw Dr. Shultz frequently. Sarah died when she was 9 in another open heart surgery. Dr. Shultz was there to support us through the tough time of losing her.
A few months after Sarah died, our 12 year old son came down with meningitis. Dr. Shultz had us rush him to Children's hospital. After all tests had been run the hospital staff said he had the kind that he would recover from and wanted to send him home. Dr. Shultz said absolutely not Daniel has severe allergies and Dr. Shultz said he always reacts to any thing he gets. Daniel will be sicker tomorrow and need to be here for a few days. So the hospital admitted Daniel and of course Daniel was sicker the next day. I had stayed at the hospital with my son and was terrified. Dr. Shultz arrived early the next day. I know he saw how I was. He came over to, me put his arms around me and said Barb we are not going to lose this one. He will be alright. Dr. Shultz in that moment showed me why he was such a good doctor, He showed compassion to me and true caring for my son and our family. I will never forget
him or that day.

My deepest sympathy to the Family. Dr. Shultz was my children's doctor until he retired from his practice. He was a dedicated doctor like none other. He was there when my daughter was born and revived her. I will always be grateful for that. God Bless and thank you for sharing him with so many.

So saddened to hear of Dr Shultz passing. Dr Shultz was ahead of his time in pediatrics. His out of the box thinking saved my quality of life. I will always be forever grateful to him for that. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

The Neff Family from Ardwick Road in UA would like to send our deepest sympathies from the bottom of all our hearts on the passing of Dr. Shultz.
You could not find a better doctor anywhere. Dr. Shultz was a pediatrician; but would still see several of us into our later teens, and into the 20s.
We miss all the times with the Shultz family, Becky, John, Brooks, Toby on Ardwick Road in UA growing up.
Time continues to move right along and Dr. Shultz will be missed and all the time we shared with the Shultz family on Ardwick Rd.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Shultz. I knew him as a patient for he was my pediatrician from my birth until the age of 18. He was also the pediatrician for my daughter, Ashley, for a few years until we moved away. I will remember him as a good, gentle, and kind doctor. Most kids fear their doctor - I didn't. Dr. Shultz and his staff were always the best in my book. God Bless his family during this time of grief and may the Lord watch and guide you through this time.

Dr. Shultz was the best pediatrician ever! His excellent reputation preceded him by word of mouth when discussing with friends in regards to which pediatrician to choose for the care of our children. I thank him for his exemplary service.

His talent and the gift of care for his patients was unmistakable. Great wealth of knowledge and kindness to his patients. Our kids were patients of Dr. Shultz from 1980 to early 90s. No better doctor than Dr. Shults. Our condolence and prays to the family.
