John Sullivan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 16, 2024.
John Lawrence "Sully" Sullivan passed away on January 13, 2024, at the Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA. He was 83 years old. He was born and raised in Dorchester, MA and was the son of the late Paul Sullivan and Mary Sherimonti. Sully was a retired business owner who enjoyed living full-time at his home on Cape Cod. He was an avid traveller, but really loved spending time on his boat and trips to Nantucket with family, friends, and his dogs.

Sully is the beloved father to his son John Sullivan of Roslindale, daughters Karen Kelly and her husband John of West Roxbury, Laura Vito and her husband Jeff of Foxboro, and Barbie Sullivan of Roslindale. He is also the much loved grandfather to Caitlyn, Cody, Matt, Kelly, Tyler, Erin, Kyle, and Ashley, as well as great-grandfather to Liam, Jackson, Oliver and James. He loved and cherished his time with his grandchildren on the Cape.

Following a private family service we invite friends and family to join us for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 21, 12:00pm - 4:00pm at the Elks Lodge, 1 Morrell, West Roxbury, MA 02132
