John Usher Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 7, 2011.
JOHN LEIGH USHER John Leigh Usher was born on January 24, 1965 and passed away suddenly on September 3, 2011. He is predeceased by his parents Ellan Benson and Robert Fotheringham. John worked at CP Rail in Moose Jaw for several years before moving to Saskatoon in 1989 where he met his life long partner Vivian. Once in Saskatoon, John spent the rest of his life working in construction for 23 years. John married his best friend Vivian on July 11, 1992 and together they enjoyed 25 wonderful years. John will always be remembered hanging with the boys at Timmy Ho's with a large double double in his hand, riding his harley, blasting his tunes, shining his cars, and of course joking around and having fun. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and going out of his way to help in any way possible. John is survived by his wife Vivian, his three daughters, Mandy (Scott), Jennifer (VJ, McKenna), Jenna and his granddaughter Jade; two sisters: Carol (Ian), Diana (Les), and two brothers: Cliff and Brad (Barb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his new found family, the Fotheringhams. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Hwy.11, north of Saskatoon. Interment to follow at Warman cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (934-4888).
