To John's Family and Friends,
I counted John among my friends since 1984. One of the last times together with John was meeting him by chance at Buc-ee's in Luling. He was traveling on a hunting trip, so we talked about hunting. That will be the best memory of John that I will keep.
A wish for John--Good Hunting

Judy and family,
What a sweet and upbeat guy! John and I began our friendship in elementary school, and I was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th high school reunion. I hope each of you feels the peace that only God can give.

John was a country boy at heart...honest, hardworking, friendly man. He always had time to help me at work despite the workload he had. John, Glenn and I would have lunches together talking work and family. He loved the outdoors (opening up deer camp) and shared the vension sausage with us. There was no talk of his illness - always positive. He will be missed by so many.
