Dr. Yelenic was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Western Pennsylvania Dental Association. He was a 1985 graduate of Blairsville High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in biology from Juniata College in 1989, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1993.
Dr. Yelenic loved his profession as a dentist and was a partner in the Reilly-Yelenic Dental Office, Blairsville. He also did school exams for the Blairsville-Saltsburg School District.
Surviving are a son, Jay-Jay, Indiana, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, with the Rev. John McMannus and the Rev. Mark T. Woomer co-officiating. Interment was in the Blairsville Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church or to Juniata College, 1700 Moore St., Huntingdon, Pa. 16652.
