I know that he passed away when I was young but the time I spent with my papa was precious. Looking back at photos I know that this was an honorable family man know for his kindness.

It's hard to believe it has been 10 years. WOW! How quickly time passes. Seeing this pic of Johnny's signature smile and those dimples reminds me to cherish every moment of life. Johnny always seemed to enjoy life and could find humor and a silver lining in almost any situation. I still have the ACE buster baseball cap he had made for the Oklahoma IT team. That's an inside joke! (lol) What a great guy! Rest on my friend!

My thoughts and prayers go out to The Maldonado family. Johnny and I first met when we both started working for the OIG. We quickly became close friends sharing war stories of our previous time in the both the USPS and the Inspection Service. I came to know Johnny as a great person who was willing to help in any way he could. Even when something happened that would bother most people he handled it with a slight shake of the head and a smile. Whenever we would go to lunch the conversation would usually include his sons and grand kids. I will say that is where I could see a real sense of pride shine through. Johnny will be truly missed and remembered by many.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't work directly with Johnny as I was in Maintenance at NTXP&DC, but I talked often with him. The photograph in the paper exactly describes him. He was always smiling and joking. What a great guy. He will be missed by all.

My condolences to Johnny's wife and the entire Maldonado family. I am sure Johnny's sudden passing is all part of God's larger plan. Johnny was someone who always faced every challenge with a big smile and he was a very understanding and generous man. Rest in peace my friend.

To Sharon, Adam, Robert and family,
I worked with Johnny in the IT Dept. for Oklahoma District. He was always so professional but knew how to have fun while doing his job! He was a joy to be around. That smile was hypnotic! He will truly be missed. Rest in peace, Johnny.

My prayers go out to the entire Maldonado family. We didn't see each other often enough but when I did see Johnny, his smile always made me laugh. I was taken back to visits of Oklahoma and Johnny's karate chops when we were younger. It was the best. I will miss him.

Dear Family and Friends of Mr. Maldonado,
My heartfelt sympathy to all for your loss. Although you do not know me, I want to extend my sincere graditude for thinking of others during your time of loss. I pray that Mr. Maldonado's donation to LifeGift will bring you some measure of comfort in knowing that he will live on in others fortunate enough to be recipients of his life-changing donation. My late daughter was a heart recipient through LifeGift, and it provided her with almost two additional years of life. We are proud that she was also a tissue donor. Thank you for considering the needs of others during a very difficult time. God bless you.
