Mr Jose Miguel Alvarado

Mr. Jose Miguel Alvarado, 54, of North Main St, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 29, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Alvarado was born June 30, 1961 in Salinas, PR, son of Irma Alvarado and the late Adam Martinez. He worked at Royal Screw of Waterbury as a machine operator for many years. Jose loved to fish especially in the ocean. You would always see him on the green where he enjoyed playing dominoes with his family and friends. Jose was known for playing his daily lottery and scratching his lottery tickets. Mr. Alvarado loved the outdoors and would love to ride around the city on his scooter. He enjoyed people and they enjoyed is outgoing personality and his passion to joke around with the walkie talkie with his friends. Jose' favorite foods were rice and beans and chicken. He enjoyed watching his favorite T.V. shows which were "Chavo del Ocho", "The Price is Right" and "Tom and Jerry". He also loved puppies and listening to his Spanish Music and more than anything, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Miguel attended the Seventh Day Adventista Church and enjoyed reading the Bible. Mr. Alvarado will be missed by all that knew and loved him. No more pain and suffering he is home. Beside his mother, Irma Alvarado, he leaves to mourn his passing, his companion of 30 years, Nancy Martinez whom he resided with, one son; Jose Alvarado Jr. two daughters, Vanessa ( Michael Sepulveda) Alvarado, Virginia (Gabriel Vega) Alvarado, nine grandchildren, one sister, Virgen Alvarado, two brothers, Adam Alvarado, Hector Maldonado, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and friends.
