Jose Garcia Obituary
Jose lived a wonderful life full of love, laughter, and family. He dedicated himself to the service of others in his community and had an amazing sense of humor. Jose especially enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes. He had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in his grandchildren and helping with RosePark baseball. Music was another love of his, and you could often hear his music playing before even getting to his door. He touched the lives of many with his food, acts of service, and his willingness to always help a friend in need. He will be greatly missed.
Jose is survived by his loving children Justina (Marquise) Garcia, and their children Carly, Jeffery, and John. Jose L. Garcia, and his children Jose Raule, Alisa, Richard, Gabriel, Malachi, and Jade. Deza (Thomas) Christopher and their children, Learic, Tayleena, and his only great grandchild Luciano. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Cindy Archuletta, LaDonna Garcia, and Sophie Phibbs. Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jose R. Garcia Sr., and his mother, Theresa Marie Speer.
The services to honor and celebrate Jose's life will be held on November 18th at 1:00 PM at 1250 West 1400 South, Salt Lake City, UT. The ceremony will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A Simple Cremations of Salt Lake City, UT, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Please join the family in remembering and celebrating the life of Jose Raule Garcia. He will be forever cherished in our hearts.

I met Jose via church ball and knew him also from him assisting with Wiffleball behind the Hook and Ladder. He adored his grandkids, seemed to love working with all the other children and he always made me laugh. He will be missed and I send my condolences to the family.
