JOSEPH ALLEN BERNARD 3RD, 32 OF HOUSTON, TX DEPARTED THIS LIFE NOVEMBER 4, 2022.
Services are at Cathedral of Praise 2580 E. Lucas St. Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM until Funeral 11:30AM. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery Beaumont, TX.
JOSEPH ALLEN BERNARD 3RD WAS BORN OCTOBER 20, 1990, IN BEAUMONT, TX. TO JOSEPH ALLEN BERNARD JR AND CASSANDRA NOEL VANZANDT. JOSEPH GREW UP IN BEAUMONT, TX UNTIL MOVING AWAY IN 2005 TO HOUSTON, TX. HE ATTENDED ROSS SHAW STERLING HIGH SCHOOL. HE WORKED AT THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY WAREHOUSE FROM 2018-2020. IN 2018 HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER AND THINGS TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE, BUT HE NEVER GAVE UP AND CONTINUED TO FIGHT. AFTER SOME MONTHS IN ICU, HE GOT OUT AND STARTED DOING BETTER AND GAINED HIS STRENGTH BACK. HE LATER WENT ON TO WORK FOR A WAREHOUSE AS A FORKLIFT DRIVER THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. JOSEPH LOVED LIFE AND ALWAYS MADE THE BEST OF IT. HE WAS A GIVER; HE NEVER MET A STRANGER. TO KNOW JOSEPH WAS TO LOVE HIM.
HE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS GRANDPARENTS: KELLY CARTER THOMAS, VIOLA JOHNSON THOMAS, JOSEPH ALLEN BERNARD SR AND CHARLES SMITH.
HE LEAVES BEHIND TO CHERISH HIS MEMORIES, HIS CHILDREN: JOSEPH BERNARD, KYLIE BERNARD AND JAYCE BERNARD. HIS MOTHER CASSANDRA VANZANDT (ROBERT), HIS FATHER JOSEPH BERNARD JR (KENYSHA), HIS SISTERS, TIARA ALEXANDER (ANTONIO), MARCIA PIPER, MARKESHA BERNARD (CYPRIAN), JOESETTE BERNARD, SAMOLIA BERNARD, AND JONAE BERNARD. HIS BROTHERS, MARCUS BERNARD, TYLER BERNARD, KUMASI BERNARD, JERMAINE BERNARD, AND JALEN BERNARD. HIS GRANDMOTHER MARY SMITH. HIS SPECIAL FRIEND/BONUS SISTER SCARLET ROBINSON 13-NIECES, 9-NEPHEWS AND 1-GREAT NIECE.
