Joseph S. Brossi, 84, of Framingham, died on Thursday October 15, 2015 at the MetroWest Medical Center, peacefully comforted by his entire family. Born in Wellesley, son of the late William and Jennie (Mortarelli) Brossi, he was the husband of the late Frances L. (Pignatelli) Brossi, who died November 6, 2014. He was a graduate of Wellesley High School, Class of 1950, and completed course work at Harvard Business School. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and had been a resident of Framingham for over fifty years. After serving in the military, Joseph and his brother David started Brossi Brothers Construction in Framingham. The business has grown in success over the past 50 years and has played an integral role in the development of the Metro West Area. Outside of running his business Joseph was a devoted family man with many interests and hobbies. He was a master cook and wine maker, avid gardener and fisherman. Joseph played the piano, loved to sing and entertain on his accordion. He was well known for his great wisdom, sense of humor and extraordinary generous spirit. Joseph was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by two sons Joseph Brossi and his wife, Theresa of Hopkinton and William Brossi and his wife, Jonilda of Northborough; two daughters, Karen Kelly and her husband Michael of Medway and Tina Behn and her husband Wesleigh of Norfolk; one brother, David A. Brossi and his wife Marilyn of Framingham; one sister, Theresa J. Ciarcia of Winchester, ten loving grandchildren, Jackson, Elena, Emily, Tyler, Lia, Ethan, Marcus, Amanda, Kyra and Sabrina and many nieces and nephews. My brother, Harold (Blue) Tenore, worked for Joe and Dave back in the 70's when he was an impressionable young man. My bother looked up to Joe as a father figure. Joe instilled a positive work ethic in Harold, that carries through today. Not knowing Joe well myself, I learned through my brother how wonderful a man Joe must have been. Joe, Dave, and the rest of the Brossi family will be in the Tenore family's prayers. Andy Tenore
