I spent a lot of time with Joe, as I nannied his kids for a few years. Joe and I climbed at the Boulder Rock Club, as well as in Boulder Canyon and Eldorado Canyon. He was a great mentor and taught me a lot about the sport, including taking trust falls. We always had a great time together, and I will always remember his confidence, love of his family, and love of life. Miss you, Joe.

I also wanted to offer my deepest condolences on your loss. I knew Joe first as student in some of my workshops and later as a peer clinician who had great passion and ideas for bridging neuroscience into the practice of mental heath services. His zest for people and life was obvious and his ability to engage with nearly anyone was a gift. I will miss him.

My heart is heavy. Joe was a deep friend. His energy and love for others was infectious. I knew Joe from EEG biofeedback, and he introduced me to my wife. I enjoyed climbing with him and every moment we could talk about brains, physiology, sports and personal growth. He was a great man and a great friend and I will miss him profoundly.

I wanted to offer my deepest condolences on your loss. I knew Joe through our love of neurofeedback. We met a our professional conferences and he was a friend to me almost immediately. He was so passionate in everything he did and compassionate to anyone in need. He had formed a group for his colleagues to share and grow in their practice of neurofeedback together that met on online on Fridays that I was fortunate to get to learn from. His absence in the world of neurofeedback will be felt by many. In sympathy for your loss.
