Joseph "Joe" Anthony Catanzaro, 88, of Queens, NYC, passed away on January 2, 2024, in Sarasota, FL. He was born on August 19, 1935. Joe was a devoted son and had a calm and easy-going personality. He loved his parents dearly and was known for being dependable and quiet.

Joe is survived by his loving children, Cindy Clements, Michael Catanzaro, and Anthony Catanzaro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Prudence Catanzaro, his sister Frances Marciano, his brother Larry Catanzaro, his sister Mary Ann, and his lifelong friend Joan Riccio.

Joe served in the US Army and was proud of his military associations. After his military service, he had a successful career as a toll collector for the NY Triborough and Bridge Authority/Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. He later retired from the US Postal Service.

In his free time, Joe enjoyed watching his beloved NY Mets. He had a passion for baseball and used to play the sport when he was younger. He also found joy in spending a day at the horse track, appreciating the excitement of the races.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by A Life Tribute Funeral Home in Largo, FL. The family will receive friends and relatives to pay their respects and celebrate Joe's life. Details regarding the funeral service will be provided by the funeral home.
