Gentile, Dr. Joseph P.
Age 90, of Newton, April 17, 2012, after a short illness. Beloved Husband of the late Rose C. (DeSantis). Devoted Father of: Christine Ann Gentile of Newton and Stephen J. Gentile of Vermont. Loving Grandfather of Danielle Rose Fournier and Christopher Joseph Fournier, both of Newton. Dear Brother of Loretta Gentile, Pauline Harvey, and the late Charles Gentile. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dr Gentile served his community as a dentist for over 40 years, his practice was located in Newton Corner. Dr Gentile also served his country in the US Army during World War II and as a Captain in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, NEWTON, Sunday from 4-8PM and again on Monday morning at 9:30AM, before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Newton for a Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment in Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Gentile's name may be made to: Newton-Wellesley Hospital Charitable Foundation, 2014 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462. www.magnifuneralhome.com
