Hartman, Joseph C. Pinckney, MI Age 44, passed away May 27, 2004 at his home after an extended illness. He was born October 11, 1959 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of the late Edward and Rosalie (Volgyes) Hartman. Joseph was employed with Ford and Visteon as a Tool & Die Maker. He loved tools and machines and hunting in the Great Outdoors. Survivors in clude his sons Shawn and Eric Hartman of Pinckney, brothers, George (Paige) Hartman of Ann Arbor, Martin (Kay) Hartman of Ypsilanti, sisters, Ellen (Adib) Al Awar of NV, Barbara Himes of CA, Louise Folsom of Dexter, Mary (Fred) Baum of AZ, many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. A Celebra tion of Joseph's Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel with Rev. James Vander Schuur officiating. Donations are sug gested to St. Joseph Livingston Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 Pm until the time of the service. Our lives took different directions, but Joe always remained close in my heart. Knowing him was a blessing and I will always treasure the memories of the time we were together. I have several pictures of Joe and the boys - If anyone would like copies please email me and I will be happy to send them to you.

Eric and Shawn, I am proud of the young men you've become - Stay strong and remember that your dad always wanted the best for you both. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Have worked with Joe over the last few years. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed here at work. My prayers are with the family at this time.

Together with Joe we parented two wonderful children, Shawn and Eric. Joe will be greatly missed by many, his spirit will live on through his boys.

We miss Joe so much. He was a great, intelligent, funny and sweet man (father, brother, uncle and friend). We will continue to dwell on the good memories and believe that he is in a better place with no more suffering. We will miss his smile, humor and of course-the pies. Shawn and Eric will be in good hands.

Rest in peace brother, we love you deeply.
