Joseph A. "Joe" Link
Pendleton, SC
Joseph Alton "Joe" Link, 76, husband of Judy Riggins Link, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Paul Barney and Nettie Evans Link. Joe was a 1958 graduate of Pendleton High School, a life long farmer, and a commercial truck driver. He was a member of Bishop Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Joseph "Joey" (Alison) Link, Jr. of Pendleton; daughter, Sherri Link (Rick) Cheek of Pendleton; brothers, Ralph T. Link of Chelsea, AL and John D. Link of Pendleton; sister Phyllis Simpson of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Kerri Link (Rod) Fleming, Joseph "Trey" (Mariel) Link III, Allie Link (Blake) Gillespie, Will Link, Taner Cheek, Zachary Cheek and Karsen Cheek; and great grandchildren Trace, Bentley, and Laynie Fleming, Joseph IV and Olivia Link.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Evan "Bud" Link; and sisters, Jean Link Bailey and Dorothy Link.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Wednesday, January 11 at Bishop Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Smoak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bishop Branch Baptist Church, 1109 Central Road, Central, SC 29630.
