Joseph Patrick Mankiewicz, age 44, of Chicago; Beloved son of the late Udo and Kathleen (nee Nowak); Loving brother of Udo (Marlene), Erin McLaughlin (Chad), and Max (Jessica). Cherished uncle of Charlie, Layla, and Henry McLaughlin. Longtime boyfriend of Stephanie Baez. Joe was a die hard White Sox fan. He worked in the bar industry for the last twenty years and was currently a manager at Joe's on Weed St. He was part owner in Ichor brand cbd products. Joe loved music, especially live. You could often find him singing along to anything that was playing in the background, or trying to show you a new song. Joe was known to treat his many friends like family and would do anything for the people in his life. He was one of the most selfless people you could meet. Joe was a very proud Nazareth Academy alum. Visitation will be held at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside on Wednesday, Oct. 5th from 3 to 9pm. Family and friends to meet directly at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange on Thursday, Oct. 6th for a 9:30am Funeral Mass. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
