I am so sorry to learn that Joe Rubenstein died this week. My parents, Abe and Belle Cohen, were some of his best friends, and I knew Joe and Midge from the time I was a little girl.
I send my deepest and warmest wishes to Midge, Carol, and Mark on the passing of of their husband and father.

I recognized Joe's picture in the paper right away and have very warm memories of spending time with him and Mildred at my grandparents' house on "bridge nights" some 45 years ago. I was glad to see he lived such a full and happy life; my condolences to his family on his passing.

Mr. Rubenstein was one of the sweetest and most generous men I think I'll ever meet. He was so good to my little Alexandra and treated her like a grand-daughter along with Ms. Rubenstein. We always called them that out of respect. I will miss his daily phone calls to Ronnie. He was a very great man and I think alot of people felt that way about him! Love and prayers to you all, from Alexdandra and Mary.
