I met Joe in a class at So. Hadley High School. We began to perform music in a small dance band called 'The Blue Notes'; he played accordion and I played piano and sang. He was a very talented and kind person and I'm happy that we enjoyed those musical times as kids. I hope that good memories of Joe have given comfort to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Joey´s passing. I attended Center School with him. He was always such a nice little boy and we became friends talking on the telephone for hours after school. I remember Joey playing his accordion. Even then, he was very good. We went to separate high schools after graduating 8th grade and lost contact. I saw him again at an 8th grade reunion we had in 2017. Joey hadn´t changed. He was still kind, friendly and handsome! I´m sure he is with Jesus! Condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is a shock to your system that takes a LONG time to fade and it never goes away. He will forever be in your heart and memory.
Again, so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Schiappa family. I knew Joe from high school and loved to hear him play the accordion. A truly great person and repeating all the fine things about him would only take up space. Mary God rest his soul.
