Joseph Stanley Zujkowski, 35, of Gaithersburg, MD died April 2, 2020 at his residence. Born in Binghampton, NY October 3, 1984 he was the son of Patricia Diane Klein Zujkowski of Princeton and the late Stanley Francis Zujkowski. Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S Army before retiring as a Staff Sergeant following two tours of duty in Iraq and being awarded the Purple Heart. He was an accomplished painter and worked as a carpenter with HVAC and small construction. Survivors in addition to his mother include one brother, William Joseph Zujkowski of Rockville, MD; Aunts, Sylvia Panick and husband Robert of Silver Springs, MD, Geraldine Grogan and husband Martin of New Jersey, and Barbara Klein of Troy, PA; cousins, Melissa, Michelle, Rebecca, Marty, Colleen, Kevin, Brian, and Julia. Military honors and graveside rites will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in the Veterans Section of Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Those attending the service are asked to be at the cemetery by the service hour. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton is serving the Zujkowski family.
