Joyce M. Chasse'

Joyce M. Chasse', nee' White, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 11, 2024, at the age of 93 in Derry, NH.

Joyce was born on September 28, 1930, in Reading, MA, graduated from Reading High School and embarked on a fulfilling career that included roles at the Boston State House, Raytheon, and the IRS. Her work ethic and dedication were evident in every role she undertook.

A person of deep faith, Joyce was a long-time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Joyce's commitment to her community was further demonstrated through her volunteer work and regular outings with the Senior Center, where she formed lasting friendships.

In addition to her career and friendships, Joyce enjoyed being outdoors (especially yardwork), puzzles, reading, and knitting with her grandchildren. Joyce cherished the time spent with her family and celebrating holiday traditions at her home creating memories that they will hold near and dear.

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Pare', son Joseph Chasse', daughter Beth Graham, and grandchildren David Hodge, Theodore Zabek, Rebecca Graham, Elizabeth Chasse', Jeffrey Graham, Matthew Graham and Rachel Chasse'. Joyce was preceded in death by her brother Thomas (Bud) White, sisters Ethel Gorman, Pauline Davis, Doris Howell, Ruth Burbine, her husband Joseph R. Chasse', and son Richard Hodge.

Joyce will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend who left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She will be truly missed.
