Joyce Ward Obituary
She was born and raised in New Bedford and lived the past 12 years in Taunton. She was employed at NES Clothing Co., as a Key Account Sales Rep. In her leisure time she enjoyed ice skating, dancing, the outdoors and loved the beach.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Boucher, Jr. and his wife, Carole of South Carolina; her two daughters, Brenda L. Frias and her husband, Luis of Taunton and April A. Ward and her fiancé, Michael Stanbrook of Brockton; her grandchildren, Matthew, Shawn and Joseph Boucher; and Nicholas, Zachary and Kaylee Frias; her sisters, Carol Tavares of Dartmouth; and Anna Diggle and Donna Oliveira, both of Freetown; her brothers, Elwood Sturtevant of CT; and William and James Sturtevant, both of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be this evening only 5-8 PM at Rock Funeral Home, New Bedford. Services will be on Saturday at 10 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.

I miss her so very much. She loved you all very much and would want you to live your lives and she will always be in our hearts. They never really leave, just their physical being.
She touched a lot of people. NES will never be the same. You know where I am if you need anything.
