I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I remember when we were on the same softball team and she would never miss a game. She was your number one cheerleader. Always yelling "Way to go Kate". May you find peace and comfort that she is in heaven watching over you. Take care

Dear Halterman and Deimon Family:
I am so saddened to hear of your great loss. I believe it has been 20 years since I last saw Judy. She and her mother, Rose, came to my 40th birthday party. My sister, Pam, called me at my son's last night to tell me of Judy's passing. Pam got a phone call from our sister Cindy who lives in Arizona. Cindy got the news from Nancy Flandrich(Ketchum). We all were neighbors in St. Paul Park from 1950 to 1959. In 1959 my family moved to California. After all these years we still keep in touch now and then. Most recently, we have been talking to Nancy. Nancy has been trying for the last two years to get together with Judy, me and my sisters.
I am so sad it did not transpire with Judy. We have never lost the feelings we had as kids for one another. The first memory that struck me when I got the news was remembering an old picture I still have stored away of Judy and me standing next to each other in our white dresses the day we made our First Holy Communion. I will always remember her mother, Rose, sewing the final touches on Judy's crown for her veil on the morning of the ceremony. I have so many wonderful memories of Judy and her family. I believe Judy followed in the footsteps of her mother as the Pillar of the Family.

Rosie and family I am so sorry about your loss my prayers and love are with you always!
Shinning Star
when you walk into the night
take the time to sit and rest
I am the star up in the sky
look closely now and I will shine

Do not cry
babes of mine
unfortunately it was my time
I shine brightly in the sky
and watch you all
as nights go by

I feel your love surrounding me
and this remains forever with me
So watch the stars and you will see
that shinning one is only me

cry not my babes
for I am free
from the pain
that riddled me

the sky is my home now
just you see
that shinning star is again me
but all around me are other stars
we once were there
but now we're here
we gather together to light up the night
so you and others won't lose your sight

and so to all who gathered here
close your eyes and you will hear
a voice that comes from deep within
softly saying
I never left you
my little ones
just a rest
and then will be one!

!

My condolences to the Halterman and Deiman families. Although I haven't seen Judy in years, I will always remember the times we spent as kids on McCammon Avenue. We had some great times.
