Mr. Jules Jay Cohen, of Newark, New Jersey, born on December 30, 1946 in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Selma R. Cohen and the late Albert J. Cohen, passed away at age 71 on August 21, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona. From 1964 to 1968, Jules served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and he also worked as a letter carrier/NALC arbitrator at United States Postal Service until he retired in 2003. Jules was the beloved husband of Ronnie E. Cohen. He is survived by his son, Alan H. Cohen; daughters, Sharon B. Cohen- Fonzo and Andrea J. Cohen-Cianfano; brother, Michael B. Cohen; sister, Judy R. Ohl; and grandchildren, Nicholas S. Cianfano, Phillip T. Cianfano, and Matthew J. Fonzo. He had a passion for golf, road trips, spending time with grandsons.

So sorry to hear of Jules passing. He and I served together in Navy with VF-84.We had some good times together especially in Key West and Ft. Lauderdale in 1967. I will always remember the green VW and how glad I was to see him driving by after I was separated from them during the college students rioting in 1967.He will be missed, my thoughts and prayer are with the family
